A hidden prize
under the green blue
shifting sand and shells
once mountains
reduced to dust
from waters
tossed by storms
and seabed’s stretching
water speaks with waves,
white caps and rushing
currents
and fingertips of shorelines
spreading far
beyond the millennial’s
their presence
a statement
of belonging
long after were gone.
