The moon dissolved
over treetops
the area is remote
and wild
a black night sky
exposes the stars
on a dark curved
canopy
dreams and wishes
search for the desperate
you can see the
crest of the earth
from here
a place deserving
of only a few
clouds envy the
chance to be perfect
its humbling
to be in the right place
even for a few minutes.
