OVER HERE

A place strong like a river   surroundings soft on the eyes and easy on the hands   drawing out the best of long fields where sunsets command a second look and rains are infrequent   while angels harmonize in the scent of lavender dissolving the unknown

ACCEPTANCE

The first time ever the ocean touched my feet I knew I belonged to a much greater place arms wider a place deeper acceptance was mine a lifetime invitation late sunsets morning with a wink of blue a memory without loss dreams of swimming never growing old the first time it touched me.
