SOFT LANDING

A forceful rain releases words from the broken parts of life lifted up against the weight of gravity, into passing clouds   as the letters drift down they reform into the openness of sacrifices and shame   revealing an empty shell once complete but still beautiful.

THE PRICE WE PAY

THE PRICE WE PAY     Anger and love broken shells parts scattered on life’s shoreline and deep waters hidden in clouds rolled out of storms under still waters suspended out of reach praying for balance understanding alone sometimes touching but not really touching the violence of gravity the weight of words unspoken destiny the … More THE PRICE WE PAY

LOOKING INTO

There are mountains to behold some soft others of granite messages hidden within the folds of clouds   some open doors worth forgetting closed ones we forgot to open   a watershed of voices replaced by empty chairs by those passing to the other side   we celebrated their life favoring the moments while looking … More LOOKING INTO

ACCEPTANCE

The first time ever the ocean touched my feet I knew I belonged to a much greater place arms wider a place deeper acceptance was mine a lifetime invitation late sunsets morning with a wink of blue a memory without loss dreams of swimming never growing old the first time it touched me.

AS IN LIFE

Two crumpled pieces of paper collapse to the floor like exhausted dancers.  A light breeze pushes them together as they creak and stretch in unison.  The compact energy contained within the tightly bonded folds begin to unevenly release, resembling the sound of mice running across a sandy floor.   They slowly turn again as the … More AS IN LIFE
